The ISCES+CC was approved at the 2012 Advisory Council and Scientific Council meeting in Beijing and became the 29th International Scientific Committee of ICOMOS International. The title was purposefully broad so that the committee could be inclusive of as many aspects as possible of this important and worrying subject. The initial working group concentrated on Energy Efficiency in heritage and traditional buildings, the sustainability issues around demolition of such buildings and the potential for alternative energy sources in our built heritage stock. The members of the working group researched and collected many relevant documents and made contact with many of the known groups working in this area that you will find here on the website by clicking ”Documents”.
